The Targeted Export tool allows you to extract specific datasets from the VGOS database into external file formats such as CSV or PQDIF.
This is particularly useful for analysis, reporting, and archiving purposes.
When a Targeted Export is performed in CSV mode, the tool generates multiple .csv files — each representing a distinct measurement stream (or datastream) depending the the selected datastreams for the export.
The file naming convention in the compressed export are as follow:
<MDat><DataStream>.csv
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| MDat | Prefix indicating Measurement Data. |
| DataStream | Identifier for the measurement type or aggregation window. Examples: 3S, 10M, HARM, VAR, etc. |
Each MDatXXX.csv file represents a specific category or resolution of data.
Below is a description of commonly exported datastreams:
| File Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Mdat3S.csv | 150-Cycle (~3s) mean data. RMS values of all PQ paramters. |
