The HMI and Web Interface is hosted locally on the instrument and can be accessed directly or remotely on the device. On the HMI the user can change all setting of the instrument, manage data and configure a measurement point as well as doing one time and continuous real-time view.
For security reasons, the HMI in factory default state is not enabled.
The flash key contains a directory and a key-file. Once mounted, the VECTO device will look for the key-file and instructions on the disk. If found, it will activate the HMI. The key file must be in a folder named "MeterKey" on the root directory of the flash drive.
To active the HMI using the flash drive follow the steps below:
Step 1: Turn on the VECTO 3/VECTO 3.4 and make sure the instrument is booted (status LED flashing green).
Step 2: Insert the USB key shipped with the device into its USB port on the side of the instrument and wait 30 sec.
Step 3: The HMI is now activated, the USB drive can be removed and the HMI can be accessed from any web browser on the instruments IP address.
